Olympic skier's topless photos cause storm in Lebanon
By Josie Ensor. A Lebanese skier competing in the Sochi Winter Olympics has sparked controversy back home after posing topless for a calendar.
The photos show Jackie Chamoun, 22, standing half-dressed in the snow holding strategically placed ski equipment to protect her modesty. The risque pictures were stills from a video of the photoshoot shared online which did not make it into the Austrian sports calendar published last month.
Lebanon is considered one of the most liberal countries in the Arab World, where lebanese are free to wear skimpy clothes and where alcohol is widely available.

Chamoun, one of two athletes representing Lebanon in alpine skiing, said the photos were taken three years ago, and the images in the final calendar are objectively less explicit than the video of the shoot that was made public.
She quickly apologised on her Facebook for an topless caused to her conservative supporters, saying:
